The Bird Collection 2
The Bird Collection 2
Combine our bird collection seeds with this workbook and the learning expands exponentially!
Gardening is fun, and kids have so much to gain by spending time outside learning how to grow their own food, discerning what part insects and animals play in the garden environment, and just how the soil actually feeds us all!
Our seeds are intentionally chosen and our workbooks and curriculum designed to help kids and adults learn to garden and understand where our food comes from. We can all play a part in helping our planet regain its viability, and part of that is knowing how many components make up an eco-system and that each member of that system relies on the other to make it work. It's a big subject! We try to make it less daunting, more fun, and ultimately instill an appreciation for growing organically, and treating our earth responsibly.
Let's learn about birds, their habitats, food, migration, and more as we sharpen our observation and critical thinking skills.
Birds are a large part of any garden environment and it's important to know that they contribute more than just the annoying hole in a tomato or digging up every single onion start we put in the ground! LOL My Birdwatching Notes is designed to help kids think like an ornithologist. My Birdwatching Notes will build a child's fundamental science skills, inspire them to try new things and encourage them to imagine new possibilities. This workbook includes directions on how to use the curriculum, a glossary of terms, anatomy of a bird, bird facts and physical features - basically everything you need to be successful is included in this workbook. We also include links to other books and websites to enhance learning.
Whether at home or school, when these notebooks are used in conjunction with gardening, books, documentaries, outdoor nature walks, birdwatching adventures, natural history museums, zoos, or on-line research, they enhance curriculum and easily measure comprehension.
