Herb - Cilantro Slow Bolt
Herb - Cilantro Slow Bolt
Non GMO, Organic, Heirloom, 50 - 60 Days To Maturity Leaves, 70+ For Seeds
Planting Instructions:
Direct sow seeds 1/4" deep in cool weather (spring/fall) in compost-rich, well drained soil. Avoid transplanting seedlings. When the taproot is disturbed it triggers bolting. Keep soil consistently moist but not soggy. Succession plant every few weeks for a continuous harvest.
Care:
Add mulch to retain soil moisture and keep roots cool. This plant likes full sun but in very warm climates will need afternoon shade.
Once the temperature warms, as the herb finally bolts and flowers, the organic cilantro seeds will develop into coriander.
Dry the harvested Organic coriander seeds for 2 weeks in a warm, dry location. Coriander is also used as a medicine for people suffering from chronic illnesses such as diabetes.
Hardiness Zone: 3-11
